Processing time and delivery

  • Please note that after you place your order, it will ship the next business day. We will provide you with a tracking number once your order is confirmed. Make sure you enter a valid email address to be able to properly track your package.

  • All orders are ship through Post Canada. More information about tracking, shipping or delivery can be found at: https://www.canadapost.ca

  • Processing time for regular parcel delivery*:

    • Local delivery: 2 business days

    • BC: up to 3 business days

    • National: up to 7 business days

 

  • We will try our best to accommodate your needs. If you would like a faster shipping or have a specific enquiry for your delivery, please contact us prior to finalize your order.

 

*These processing times are only to provide general timeframe. All shipments are made from Vancouver Island, then delivery time will vary according to the destination. Please be advised that we are not responsible for any unforeseen events and delay that could occur with Post Canada delivery.

Shipping policy

  • At this time, we only ship within Canada. If you wish to arrange shipping in another country, please contact us to see what options are available.

  • The customer is responsible for entering a valid address. Any new shipment or additional shipping costs incurred for rejected or returned to shipper packages due to such mistake will be at the charge of the customer. 

 

  • Free shipping applies only for orders over 120$ and exclude wholesale shipping order (prior arrangement needs to be made with us for wholesale shipping).

Returns & Exchange

  • At Forest For Dinner, we take pride in providing the best possible quality for all our harvested products. If for some reason, you were not happy with the product you received, please contact us right away so we can find a way to make sure you are fully satisfied with your order.

 

  • Please note that we might ask for pictures & details before issuing a refund or doing an exchange, depending of the nature of the issue.

 

  • Exchanges and returns, for other issues than quality, will only be accepted if products are in their original condition. Shipping fees will be at the customer responsibility. Refund will be only on the purchase order (we do not refund shipping fees).

 

  • In any case, please contact us within 7 days after receiving your order to see if you qualify for an exchange or refund.

At Forest For Dinner, we are a small team but committed to big projects.

After 6 solid years in the foraging industry of western Canada, we have developed a strong expertise in harvesting, sorting, packaging and shipping, to provide our customers with a great selection of wild food. Please note that products availability is subject to seasonal harvest and weather.

We already work in partnership with many restaurants in Vancouver Island and fulfill several wholesale enquiries for various clients.

Also, we are available for consulting work regarding wild food topics.
